Privacy policy and texting terms

PestDesk is a trading name of Vantage Desk Operations LLC, a Wyoming company, 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801. We handle calls, texts and email for pest control companies, under their name. This page explains what information we handle and how. Questions go to hello@pestdeskhq.com.

Who this covers

• Visitors to this website.
• Pest control companies who talk to us or work with us (our clients).
• Our clients' customers, whose calls, texts and emails we handle on our clients' behalf.

What we collect

• This website has no forms, ads or tracking cookies. Our web host and our font provider receive standard technical information, such as your IP address, when the page loads.
• When you book a call or email us, we get your name, email address, company name and anything you choose to tell us.
• When we work for a client, we handle what their customers give us: name, phone number, email address, service address, the messages they send, call recordings and transcripts, and appointment details. We also hold the client's service plans, prices and instructions.

How we use it

Only to provide the service: answering calls, texts and email, booking and confirming visits, sending follow-ups and reminders the client has asked for, checking quality, and reporting to the client. We use a client's customer information only for that client's account, never for anyone else's.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run our systems (phone and texting, email, hosting, scheduling and AI processing), under contract and only so they can provide those services, and with the client the information belongs to. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Text messages

• Who sends them: we send texts on behalf of the pest control company you contacted or do business with, and every text names that company.
• What they're for: replies to your questions, appointment requests, confirmations and reminders, and follow-ups about service you've received.
• When you get them: only after you've contacted the company or agreed to hear from it. How often depends on your conversation and your appointments.
• Costs: message and data rates may apply.
• Stopping: reply STOP at any time and you will get no more texts from that company's number. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@pestdeskhq.com.
• Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Calls

Calls we handle for our clients may be recorded and transcribed so the service works and its quality can be checked. Callers are told at the start of the call.

How long we keep it, and deleting it

We keep a client's information while we work for them. When a client asks, or when our work together ends, we return or delete it. If you are a client's customer and want your information deleted, contact the company you do business with, or email us and we will pass your request to them.

Security

Only the people working on a client's account can see that client's information. Passwords are kept in a password manager, and access is removed when someone stops working on an account.

Children

Our service is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update this page and the date at the top.
